My name is Sabrine, and I am a certified Dance Coach owning and running the Sabou Dance Academy. Dancing for more than 17 years and teaching for 5 years pushed me to found my academy 4 years ago in Amsterdam, building a community of over a thousand women along the way. I’ve created dance digital courses for brands such as Nike, ASICS, Tommy Hilfiger, and taught in Europe’s biggest gym, bringing Dance as a tool for women to increase their levels of self-confidence & self-esteem, by helping them (re)connect and improve their relationships with themselves and their bodies.

Having such an unhealthy relationship with my own body for so many years was the result of a constant feeling of never being good enough, always comparing myself and seeking validation from others. It took such a toll on my mental health, that it caused me to lose all sense of confidence, shut my voice down, live in constant fear and from a place of scarcity. And this, in all areas of my life; relationships, career, fun… you name it! Can you actually feel how stressful and overwhelming this can be?

Interacting with all these women I’ve met made me realize that I wasn’t the only one struggling with these self-limiting beliefs and that tools to overcome them were really needed. That’s why today I believe with all my heart in a world where women of all walks of life are inspired and equipped to live a life of fulfillment, purpose and alignment.

Welcome to the Sabou Dance Academy, a dance coaching company, where we help women who are disconnected from their bodies and struggling with expressing who they are, step away from being fearful, self-conscious and insecure, by providing them with the tools, mindsets and safe space they need to use their fears as fuel and motivation in order for them to find, own and embrace their voice, so they can live a life of alignment, fulfillment and purpose.
